Yes! Once we accept a house clearance we will make sure that the property or space to be cleared is left spotless.
We may sell and offset the value of some item’s to reduce the cost or even result in a free house clearance. We also aim to donate as much as possible to charity and animal shelters. Anything that can’t be sold or donated is responsibly recycled at local trusted facilities.
This is not a problem for us as it attends to occur more than you might think! After over 20 years in the house clearance industry we can honestly say that there is not much that we haven’t seen. We are fully trained and prepared to take on any clearance no matter how dirty or cluttered it may be. We have had many customers in the past who have been a bit embarrassed due to a family members hoarded house so you can ensure that we can be discreet if need be.
We use 2 types of vans depending on what van is available on the day you’d like the clearance to be done:
- Luton lo-loader van – the biggest
- Long wheelbase van – smaller but still suitable for house clearance
The price goes off which van we use due to their size difference.
Both vans are suitable for house clearance but our quote will be a bit cheaper if we’re using the long wheelbase as it is slightly smaller than the luton. Regardless of which van is used, they both hold a 1000kg of weight.
Absolutely not! We dispose of all waste responsibly and 100% legally and as a legitimate, established house clearance company we despise fly-tippers. So much so that we have joined AFTA – The Anti Fly-Tipping Association of the UK to try help put a stop to it and also to give our customers additional peace of mind when using our services.
We have the facilities to accept payment via cash, bank transfer or credit/debit card. Each customer is provided with an invoice once payment has been made. The invoice is for your personal records and it holds our company details.
This is not a problem, we often work with overseas clients. We can work with you over the phone or via email to find out what needs to be done and to book you in. Then we can meet a family/friend at the property or pick the keys up (unless you have them in which case they can be posted to us) and once the property is emptied we will send you photo’s and take payment via bank transfer and send your invoice via email (or post if you require a physical invoice).
